It is completely worth buying the professional grade tool rather than faffing with the cheap versions, and Rothenberger are right up there for pipe slices. In stock with Toolstation making it quick and easy.
Very poor quality tool. Had to return it after taking it apart at least 10 times to reset the internal spring.
Rothenberger used to be top quality tools. Not so much these days. I lost my much cheaper no name cutter which I’ve had for years, so I thought I’d give myself an upgrade. It failed during the first cut, the cutter just let go and retracted into the body of the machine. Not good when you’re on site after everything has closed.
As expected this brand performs well making tube cutting a breeze.
An amazing tool probably the best in the market and toolstation is the best shop to buy from
Spring broke on its first turn. Had to refund it. had to return to the store. took time off my job.
I purchased a new 22mm Rothenberger pipe cutter from ToolStation at the weekend to complete a small plumbing job. As I have had cheap pipe cutters in the past I do realise that if you want quality you have to pay a little extra. This cutter is of an excellent quality and the job was easily done once I got it home. Assuming I do not loose this one, it should last me years.
Excellent pipe cutter, not just for confined spaces, but everywhere. So much better than my old style cutter.
Does the job for what is needed.
Was really awkward to twist in a very small gap cutting old pipework, had to switch direction a few times until a cut was maintained and after motion took place the job was successful.
With plenty of gap I'm sure the tool would be a lot easier to use, an adapter handle in this case would have been useful (Maybe some vice grips?).
Good product for the price had no issues with it at all
First one brought had faulty spring return but second was as it should be, works very well
Does the job every time, and built to last! What’s not to like
This is a great tool if you are restricted for space
Needed to cut a 22mm pipe behind a bath and this is the only tool that would fit. I usually borrow one but was away from home and toolstation were close. Cheaper ones are available but these are the best.
Excellent pipe cutter, bought to replace a Monument which appears to have a failing spring.
Perfect for the job what it says & fair on price..
Nice grip, gets into tight spaces easily.
