Very dissapointed in sprayer used ronseal 5year fence treatment only sqirts it out no spray even using control tried water works fine just not up for the job i purchased it for spraying my fence
Worked fine the first time. Could not get it to spray properly after that.i had made sure it was cleaned thoroughly after use.
Had a problem with nozzle blocking went back a brush.
Alas, it is fine when it works but when spraying fresh tubs of Ronseal Shed and Fence Protector the spray nozzle constantly becomes clogged, the filter does catch some of the solid matter but not all. I followed the instructions on the tub meticulously, e.g. chose a warm windless day vigorously stirred stain with a spatula initially and also tried thinning the stain with up to 10% water and stirring it with a drill mounted mixer however nothing worked satisfactorily, one and a half fence panels was the best I achieved so I resorted to a brush.

Very easy to use, good , quick coverage, excellant control for straight edge and controlled spraying. Pretty easy to clean after spraying as well.
You would need to be Tarzan to pump this sprayer to the desired pressure to make this sprayer work it’s hopeless if the pressure drops would not buy again.
Ronseal paint covers well but did less than expected for area coverage,Also the paint has a fair amount of contamination as kept blocking spray gun ip.
The Ronseal sprayer was easy to use, except for frequent trips to sink to reverse flush spray head out, Otherwise was money well spent, certainly quicker than using a brush
I got the fence sprayer read and carried out the instructions. I loaded it about 4 Liters of Ronseal Fence life + in it and started to spray paint my fence it worked very well for about 20 minutes then nozzle blocked so had to try and clean it. Couldn't seem to clear the spray nozzle after trying a few times so ended up using a brush. I e-mailed about nozzle problem and asked about spares number etc. but Ronseal has yet to reply.
Very very hard,almost impossible to create enough pressure by a 70 yr old with heart condition! It is ok for a young person to pump up enough to create pressure for effective use.

Does what it says on the tin,made life easier otherwise painting fence would have been nightmare.
Didnt work. Wouldn't even spray water very successfully. Noticed the nozel wasn't properly formed. Gave up and took it back, full refund no questions thank you
Simple to use. Ensure to put water through when finished.
Bought this to speed up fence painting but spent more time cleaning it out and unblocking ths nozzle eventually returned it and went back to using a brush even diluting it by the recommended 10% made no difference to the blocking issue.
Given it 3* because I nearly returned it. The spray nozzle kept blocking up, 3 or 4 times each panel side. Eventually took nozzle head apart and found lose grain of plastic probably from when manufactured between the two nozzles. That cleaned out and now does a good job.
Bought this to paint my fence. Waste of time. Had to go to a roller to do it.
Don't waste money on this sprayer. After trying to get a good spray out of this for 2 hours I threw it in the bin.
Terrible product. The paint goes everywhere and the coverage is poor. There was more on the path than the fence. Don't waste your money!
Even though I used the correct fence paint it kept blocking up .spent more time unblocking this than painting even tried to thin the fencr paint down . don't waste your money
