Have used this product on the whole of the renovation of our home. Very satisfied.
Goes on well, and easy to work with. Giving old looking wood a renewed look! Would buy again.
Was a bit surprised when I opened the tin and saw it was white but after a quick check I realised this was correct and found it very easy to use and it gave a lovely matt finish that feels strong and durable. Did 2 coats with a brush and went over it with a small roller to get rid of any brush strokes.
Used on new oak staircase. 4 coats quick dry easy to apply happy with the finish.
It dries in just 30 minutes. Leaves an excellent finish. After use, clean brushes in warm soapy water.
good stuff, dries the same colour as original. great for wood effect retaining original colours.
At first it worryingly looks whitish but dries off to a smooth clear satin finish.
Used this for years and still get an exceptional finish
Great quality varnish, easy to use and dries quickly, good spread for such a small tin, highly recommended
Best clear Matt varnish brought my yew tables to life
Only just applied so can't comment on long-term finish. Easy to apply with no visible brush marks and is definitely quick drying. Happy so far.
Easy to apply and quick drying. Nice Matt finish too. All good
Easy to apply dries very quickly reapply after 15-20 minutes lovely finish great product
It was easy to use and went on the wood smoothly and after a couple of coats left a nice sheen.
Great product, easy to use and easy to clean up afterwards.
I really like this varnish. Being water based it is clean and easy to use. The short drying time makes it possible to put on several coats on the same day, and the finish seems to be good and tough. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that the end appearance of the wood is not a good as with an oil based varnish.
Good product, reasonable price and easy to apply..would recommend
I use loads of tins of this varnish. It looks like milk when you open the tin but dries clear and very quickly. I have recoated within 20 min of first coat in warm weather.
Used mainly on pine interior doors after sanding down and it gives a nice hard protective coat. It stops the doors swelling in damp weather.
Quite dissapointing - I've used Renseal Varnish for many years albeit in earlier formulations. This latest incarnation is just like a cheap vogurt in looks and texture (and to be honest the yogurt would probably give better results). Even after a full 5-coats (sanding between each coat) on an Oak Veneer dresser top is still lacks any sort of depth, and as for the matt finish it's not, it's satin all day long. Unfortunately I will not be buying Ronseal again any time soon ..... Osmo Poly X here I come.
Blumming great product !goes on like a dream and drys quick, varnished a wooden bannister and it looks marrrrrvelous😝
