Great quality varnish easy to use minimum of our would recommend
Feels no glossier than the satin. Am a huge fan of the satin finish but the gloss didn’t live up to the same expectations.
Bought this varnish from Toolstation as they were the cheapest and varnish went on easy and gave a lovely finish
Bought this as couldn't get solvent based varnish for interior work. This product is water based and required 3 coats to come close to 1 coat with older products. Unfortunately it's low voc's mean this is the std for the future.

easy to apply and quick drying, needs several coats and after 3 coats a fine sanding before a last coat washes out of brushes easily
Surprised to open tin and find 'pure brilliant white'! But it was varnish, and when applied to a piece of oak, turned totally clear.
Applied reasonably easily, but even after multiple coats, it looked like some areas had been missed. Dried very well and even with no brush marks, and did cover fully.

This is a very good quick drying varnish which I applied to sealed mdf with a foam paint brush.As a result there were no brush marks when dry. I would recommend this product.
The product was used on an existing varnished surface and worked well after a little rubbing down with fine sandpaper.
at first when opened it appeared white even after mixing, but when applied it went on clear but you need two coats as it is not very glossy but the good things are it didn't smell and was quick to dry
Does exactly what it sais on the tin.
Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong .

Starts as a milky colour( can be a bit off pointing) but dries to a good clear varnish
Doesn't go on as thick as traditional varnish, but because of the drying time you can do more coats quicker. Building up a nice finish.
I have not had to purchases varnish for some time. I looked varnish up on Goog;le and was very surprised to find a water based varnish. It was very wasy to use following the Ronseal instructions. I am delighted with the result

Two stars, because it does not do what stated on the tin.
It is a water based varnish, good for the environment and ease in cleaning brushes but it does not spread very well, dry too quickly leaving brush marks. Initial spread is cloudy which clears as it dries.
More importantly the final finish is rather satin not gloss.
A very good varnish to show the colour of the wood.
Needed some clear gloss to finish off a new oak bannister, went with a good make Ronseal.

Went on well! Looks good! Don’t use if very cold it will bloom!
