Very runny and not great coverage. On the second coat and the colour hasn’t yet shown true to colour on the tub
It may be ok on SAWN wood but is absolutely useless on smooth planed timber in spite of what it says on the tin.
Used before gives good coverage and seems long lasting
Took 4 coats, I'm sure more green with more coats, but it looks nice for us
I have used this fence paint on a number of occasions using the Ronseal fence sprayer. The coverage is very good and, although older panels may need a second coat, the speed and evenness sees you being able to cover a 6x6 panel in 5 or 6 minutes. The paint lasts really well, and panels using a brush needing two application a year now need 1, to keep their appearance. I would not use any other paint for this job.
Absolutely a fantastic product and simple to use good spread and covering
Great wood treatment, worked well on the school playground climbing frames
Does exactly what it’s says on the tin Easy to apply and coverage is good
Requires 2 coats does what it says on the tin tub
Pronounced appropriately 'Rain Seal' in Australian accent
Thick paint easy to use with a brush, don't use a spray, it will clog it in no time,
Have painted the fence and a bench , looks good already , but will need a 2nd coat . Good colour
Think this product covers well and is easy to use , no mess when using and brushes clean up well , any spillage is cleaned up easily and tends no to stain sensitive areas patio on concrete areas.
Looked around for a descent paint for my new shed. Looked at a number of products and decided on Ronseal. Its a household name so was confident it would do the job. I was not dissapointed, it took two coats and the colour wwas great.
Good quality fence paint. Basically did what it said on the tin.
As always with these products..it really does do what it says on the tin.
Coverage is great. Drying time exceptional. Very easy to apply.
I was unlucky and got a heavy shower about 15 minutes after finishing the first application. It shed the water and I simply applied a second coat (which was the plan anyway) on the following day.
As can be seen I used both the Dark Oak and the Cornflower Blue. The tubs had been originally painted about 12 years ago freshened up with a single coat after 5 years and then this year I decided to give all a good couple of coats anticipating they probably will have seen a decent length of life by the time they again look shabby.
Doesn't cover as well as expected. Needs a few coats.
Too thin, doesn’t contain enough pigment, took about four coats to cover a brown fence.
Good make and works well. Usually does last for a period of years.
A great product which gives a great finish & keeps my fence in good order.
After sanding down to create a key, two coats didn't cover the old treatment.
