Easy application, leaves a nice finish with deep colour, dries fast and water based so easy clean up.

Although may look thin when goes on it dries much darker. Covered bare patches really well.

Quality going over existing finish of the same ' can't comment on going over clear wood' but a good overcoat on existing finishes.

Went on well with a brush but only covered two wooden planters with one coat. Will have to buy another tin to finish and wasnt cheap. Hopefully it stands up to it's 10 year guarantee but won't know for a while

Good product. Doesn't take too long to dry, easy to apply. Colour matches description. Time will tell if it keeps the wood protected for 10 years. Hope so. Wasn't as expensive as expected either
Brilliant stains and varnishing all in one coat. No need for rubbing down on new wood.

Very good stain, the colour was perfect and it made a good overall seal on the material I've used it on
Product enabled me to upcycle plastic Rattan furniture which had become faded and old looking. The black stain gave it a smart new black appearance and with new cushions looked like new and chairs from different sets became a matching colour. Only this Ronseal worked - the other non water based wood stain I tried didn’t apply well. This is also good as you can wash brushes under the tap. Easy to order online from Toolstation and collect in store.
