This is the third wired Ring doorbell I have bought and installed. The picture quality is very good, be careful what you say if you are outside talking as the microphone is really sensitive. I have also linked the bell to Alexa units to alert us all around the house which is very useful.
I'm highly delighted with this doorbell the video resolution is great you can hear birdsong through the sound system, there are no batteries to change or charge all in all a very good buy 5stars
Best of the smart doorbells you don't want to be charging batteries with the alternatives shame the annual subscription has jumped recently from £25 to £40 but it'd pretty useless without it!
Ring doorbell, brought for a customer, great price at a great price, simple to install and simple to set up, very happy
Couldn't hear old door bell all round the house so wanted a door bell that would alert on Alexa and on mobile phones. After reading reviews this one seemed suited to Alexa and was good value. Was easy to setup and does exactly what I wanted of it. Doesn't have all the features of the more expensive Ring doorbells but does exactly what I wanted off it. Used a plug power supply and it works fine.
Bought it over the counter get back home set it up around 20min here we go all good and working not to worry to miss out delivery man or intruder or unwanted guests

Really impressed by this device, I'll be taking the subscription at £3.49 a month. No-one can get near the house without us being alerted (this is called an event) and with the subscription, you can download any event or trackback through previous days.
Downside is that Information on what is needed with the video doorbell was scant, with the wired bell you obviously need an 12v supply and a WiFi router. Note your existing chime will no longer work once you've wired this in, you can buy a chime but its not really necessary with the app on your phone or device (provided you keep it near you). Everyone in the household can download the app and get the alerts. You can speak to people at the door via the app from wherever you are (provided you have a data signal)
Instructions for installation are poor and rely on you watching a video, the video does not explain things very well it trys to dumb down but in doing so overlooks the many types of existing doorbell & chime and subsequent wiring.
Once installed though, connection to your wifi router is easy, once that is done anyone else using the app is connected and 'up and running'
You can adjust the field of detection to ensure you don't pick up the neighbours properties as you wish, by dragging the 8 points of the field as you see it from the doorbell.
