This is an excellent product, very sensitive and with a wide operating pressure range. Better than many other more expensive products.
Fitted two to a shower pump one was fine the other was deformed and had a crack in it, now I need to go back to The job with a Replacement. Preferably from an other supplier. Don’t waste your time on this poor quality product !!!
Valve is displayed as a 22mm check valve. However the valve bore is only 15mm, this applies to the 15mm and 10mm valves which have respective valve sizes of around 10 and 8mm.
Many suppliers use the same description for these valves in different sizes, all are incorrect.
To comply with TSA, these should be described with their actual flow volume value, in the case of 22mm it has a flow volume through the internal valve of a 15mm pipe.
Valves which have correct bore size, connectors 22mm and internal valve 22mm, for example, are known as 'Full Bore' valves. I stand to be corrected if anyone wishes to do so.
My review is related to the description used for the valve. I have traded with toolstation for many years without issue and will in the future.
