Brilliant little piece of el kit. Very easy to use, seems robust.
No fixing lugs to screw to wall or joist and, cable securing screws need Allen key which are very rarely insulated and not in everyone's tool box. No need to cut out for cables, plastic housing very flexible.
This does the job but does not have any protection against the cord gets pulled. So works well if static. Not great for your lawnmower. It also has gel squeezing out.
I wasn't sure about this working, but gave it a go and so far its been holding up,
the only drawback is that its not cheap.
Really easy to use and good quality. Needed to make a waterproof connection in a confined space.
Just be aware that the terminal screws are hex sockets - 2.5mm I believe.
Electricians had left wires too short to reach consumer unit so put junction boxes underfloor. We have a high water table so wanted to ensure no problems with moisture ingress. This box was perfect for the job, transparent good sized connections 2x2.5mm for 3 wires L,N & E.
I bought thisto extend a supply that could not be fully replaced because of access.
It is easy to use and provides a very good waterproof connection
