It’s well made hawk and a great size for small jobs. This is my first hawk and it made plastering so much easier.

This small 8" hawk is perfect for addressing ceiling cracks and wall cracks.
I didnt want to go with a USA mud pan, due to wrist strain of holding it, so the small hawk with my 4" and 6" knives has been perfect.
Ive never tackled such big jobs before and Ive mixed compoundcfrom powder to get the right consistency.
So happy with this and its given me the confidence to go for a big hawk with my 14" knife.

It's a nice and small to use in tight spaces and to hold
As a DIYer I find this a good size for repointing. The aluminium is a decent thickness so it should last.

Love it! Not too big for an amateur hole filler.
Need to re-point a wall, so this smaller hawk is perfect to carry a lesser amount of mortar which is easier to hold for long periods of time. Nice handle and cushioned top for comfort for extended use. Perfect really!

Much nicer than the old one knocked up from some sheet metal and wood, Very well made and comfortable to use, and less bulky than a full size hawk.
