Bought this item to help me replace the 3 way motorised valve after watching a plumber using them on YouTube. I have to admit I was a tad sceptical. I was impressed with the way they worked.
Bought these to block the outlet pipe & vent pipe in my CH expansion tank to create a vacuum in the system in order to replace a perished washer in the drain tap without draining down the system. Worked like a dream, saving alot of time and effort.
Lost my previous bung so got these & they worked well
These plugs could not cost any more than 10p each to produce. Can't understand why others don't undercut these daft prices.

Perfect, used on both system feeder tanks, once to change tap and once to change radiator.
These bungs worked perfectly to plug the vent in the header tank to change a radiator TRV without draining the whole system down. Obvious when you think about it - but just be wary when you start undoing things that the water is held in at pressure - and comes out a lot faster, and goes a lot further than you might be think!
I only realised this as the radiator water was hitting me in the face, and I was fumbling the TRV back onto the radiator...!
Blocked off header tank feed pipes and that allowed easy change from standard radiator to towel radiator in bathrooms
Saved me having to drain the whole central heating system to change 1 radiator
Wish I had known about this years ago - saved a lot of time and hassle. Shut off the water from cold water storage tank totally and job finished in double quick time, so would highly recommend.
Fits nicely in 15 and 22 mm. Presses in firmly if needed. Good instuctions and useful packaging.
These plugs worked perfectly even though the header tank was 30 ft plus above the valve. Recommend to watch a YouTube video before starting the task if you are a DIYer like me.

Purchased these for plugging the copper pipes inside a cold water tank I was cleaning. Unfortunately one of the pipes was 25mm and too big for the pipe plugs so had to wrap a piece of cloth round it for a snug fit. A bit expensive for what you get but did the job.
Used these when I needed to replace the valve on a radiator without draining down the gravity-fed system. Easy to push firmly into the relevant pipes in the loft and pulled a perfect vacuum on the radiator. Thoroughly recommended.
Had to change a gate vale on the hot water tank cold feed, did not want to drain 50gallons of water,
this tool worked a treat even if i only use this the one time it was worth it.
