We needed two ceramic Uplighters to match the existing ones in our lounge. Victoria Plumb had some that were slightly larger at £39.99 each. I found these two at Toolstation for £13.99 each! They were a few millimeters different in dimensions. The standard of manufacture was excellent and fittings were supplied. The ceramic finish took the emulsion wall paint well and I would recommend the Uplighters.
Very impressed in finished results..use a rachet with screwdriver bit for easy fixing. Dont overtightened or youll break the ceramic
Really smart, stylish uplighters. I asked my builder to install these whilst he was here sorting other jobs, as I know ceramics can be prone to breaking during installation. He said it was a bit fiddly but he managed and they really do look smart. Surface looks like it would paint fine. It needs a candle shaped bulb - it doesn't say in the details online so I bought standard globe bulbs but you can't see them when this is on the wall. Excellent value for the price, would buy again.

Not sure why there are washers supplied as you have to hange fitting on the installed screws, no room to tighten up afterwards!
Good product though the securing screw washers are compatible with the keyhole shape mounting holes.

Ok for the price, Basic as you would expect, should be better designed for the fixing, a secure bracket, should have earthing point as internals are metal and are open.
