Bought to cut thick tiles and it worked very well, cutting easily and easy to put together and use.
Does the job if you are DIYer but not recommend for expensive tiles
Bought for home DIY project for floor tiles, good value for money, can be a little tricky to change the blade, I tiled approx 40m2 and needed 3 blades, the one that came standard with the tool was useless.
Very poor indeed. The fence lets this cutter down badly. It moves during use and damages the tiles. I returned it after 4 attempted cuts resulted in 4 broken tiles.
Disappointed with this item started off really well then after a while it started struggling to cut cleaning and a decent diamond blade made little difference, the motor just ain’t powerful enough and declined in power the more it was used unfortunately. Unit returned and had to finish job with disc cutter.
Had to cut a lot of stone tiles for a staircase 180 cuts in total cut them all excellent
First impression is a little OMG but this is a decent little cutter. I upgraded to a Vitrex Porcelin blade and this made light work of 8mm tiles.
Guide isn’t great so didn’t use it but for the price was impressed with cutting power. Water reservoir needs topping up regularly but for the price this machine does the job
For the money, this is exactly as expected. The fence is not up to much but I just going freehand anyway and for these simple cuts, it’s bang on. I bought it to cut porcelain tiles and frankly was expecting to have to buy a better blade but it’s been absolutely fine for what I need. I’d definitely recommend it for the DIYer.
Unimpressed! Bought especially for the job planned. Fairly straightforward to put together but not easy to fit the cutting blade at all. Had to resort to old clinker cutter which made the job a struggle. May try a different cutting blade but really lost confidence in it. Would not recommend.
This tile cutter is good apart from the yellow guild bar. It sticks every time you need to move it which is incredibly frustrating and annoying.
It causes long delays when adjusting cut sizes.
Other than that, the actual cutting of tiles is great.
Great for the price, seems fairly sturdy, guide worked well with fairly tidy cuts (make sure plenty of water in reservoir). Will consider upgrading the blade for next use.
Great cutter for the money - used and it’s good for small tiles
Bit fiddly to put together, but great bit of kit. No problem with any tiles . So far :)
Very pleased. Cutting 600 x 600mm, and 900 x 300mm tiles. Only downside is, at this size you need two people or some kind of packing or blocks to support the tiles. Otherwise it was great, makes nice clean cuts. Would recommend.
Great wet tile cutter I completed the Job with ease good piece of kit good price easy set up and away you go 👍 would highly recommend
Very poor product. The cutting wheel doesn't line up with the guard support . Cutting wheel useless for porcelain.
Great kit for the price, easy to put together, accommodating large tiles easily
Great piece of kit for small tiling jobs. Excellent value too.
I purchased this not expecting the moon on a stick. It's affordable and simple to assemble, but I found it much easier to figure it out rather than use the instructions - the images printed offer no assistance as they were all black; a very poor oversight by the manufacturer when taking into consideration the importance of assembling electric saws. I would recommend this for a DIY'er if you're looking for a no frills tile saw. The guide rail is frustrating if you want to cut any wider than 190mm as it can't be adjusted to beyond this, despite going up to 200mm. I also found the extended tray on the left somewhat frustrating as it won't sit still if extended fully and you're pushing with slight force towards the guide rail. Please bear in mind that the blade will not perform to the standards it should without enough water added above the bottom of the blade. Water is a crucial requirement for the blade to perform to its expectations.
The cutting disc is poor, so I changed it to a better one…seems fine for the price.
