Condensate pipe from my boiler was leaking - cut a new pipe as a collar where the leak was and used the PVC Pipe Solvent Cement to connect it all together - all worked fine and the leak was gone.
Went off super fast on a cold day. Didn't quite get it right so I had to cut connections out and buy more connectors.

It sticks plastic waster pipe and fittings together, very well indeed
Better than glue, cheaper than the screw ring clamps and stronger for long runs, though you have to watch out for access to clear blockages, so make sure there's enough drop on the pipe.
For a water leak issue, the cement quickly stopped the flow and formed a watertight seal that will ensure the pipe can handle various flow strengths. Water pressure is handled without stressing the pipe as the bood is just as strong.
