Bought one of these push-fit straights when moving a bathroom sink. It did not fit standard 32mm pipework normally used with push fit fittings - it was too small. It was only suitable for pipework normally used with solvent weld fittings. I had to return it and get a compression straight.

Useful to fix drain pipes quickly. User need to know push fit pipe and weld pipe have slightly different outer diameter. Weld pipe is smaller than push fit pipe.
