I have a lot of experience with Purdy Poles. They the best to my liking to do different painting jobs.
Purdy have done a great job of brand marketing. Fancy gadgets and all. But avoid this pole. I ‘updated’ to one of these purdy poles during the summer, after my prodec pole gave up after 4 years of heavy service. This purdy pole has failed after three months. The quick lock system is great, but the pole extension system has failed. Keeps sliding back into the main body. I’m going back to prodec and getting myself some quick lock adapters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used my 2ft Power pole for years. The size is great for small areas like closets and wet rooms then for ripping out 8ft walls. It is great for on a ladder also.

It’s lightweight, super sturdy, and the grip feels comfortable even after hours of painting. The locking system is smooth and never slips, which gives me confidence when I’m rolling high ceilings or walls. Honestly, it makes painting so much faster and easier—I don’t even bother with my old poles anymore. If you want a tool that saves time and hassle, this is it.
Very good pole, heavy duty and I used it to work in very narrow corridors. The button is strong enough to modify the pole length, Definitely recommend it to everyone
This.is a great extension pole as it has easy connection to the Pursy rollers and a good slide in and out mechanism. Certainly recommend

Upgraded to this pole from a cheap basic one. Worth the money if you have a big job. Much sturdier and very easy to adjust. Better finish achieved with this as my older pole flexed, especially when fully extended.
Threaded aluminum tip broke off. This part seems to be what everyone complains about. Considering the cost of this item a replacement part should be available. Will be replacing with a different brand for sure.
Rubbish. The actual extension doesn't hold its lock, and as soon as any weight is put on it, it closes. So garbage for tryin to role a ceiling lol

Literally used this twice and on the second paint job, the connector snapped off. The pole is nice and sturdy, but since the connector snapped off, it’s rendered useless. Also can’t extend anymore. Unsure if it’s a fault with the mechanism that locks and releases the extension pole , But not really worth figuring out since since I can’t connect a roller to it!

Very good at first but after a year of use it’s not locking secure anymore. It’s too bad because it’s very convenient to carry and reach in tight quarters.
Top notch piece of kit. A must have for decorating. No messing around making sure clips are locked in place when extending. Just push it up and go. Fits perfectly into the Purdy roller frame. No twisting, no screwing the roller frame on and off. Great bit of engineering.
