can charge the razor using a plug but electric toothbrush wires were a bit messy on the unit surface so fitted one of these and so far very pleased. You have to spend extra on different facias, the white is a bit clinical so add on a chrome or brushed chrome for another £15.
So yes, but of a luxury and bit of faff to fit but if you want to reclaim some space then why not.
Good quaility,easy to install with push connectors, be aware that a 40mm back box is required either a fully recessed box or surfaced mounted. looks really nice

This is a neat little product that means you can bin the corded charger unit that comes with your electric toothbrush. It’s easy to fit as it just swaps over with a standard shaver point
This is a great idea, and was easy to fit, in replacement for the existing shaver socket. Unfortunately in my installation there were 3 cables in the backbox, not the usual 2. As the charger only had capacity for 2 in each connection, live, neutral and earth, I had to use a chocolate block to combine them . Fortunately there was sufficient space. My only gripe is the cost, which seems excessive to me.

Easy to order online, collected next morning. This item is a straight swap for the 2pin shaver point socket. I fitted mine in 12 minutes. Really pleased with the fit, function and finish. If your toothbrush has a power on light it glows red when charge needed, flashes green when charging and permanent green when charged. Shame Toolstation didn’t stock the various coloured backplates so I had to have white which was fine.
great design, much better than the plug sockets and looks smart. We did buy the chrome cover separate which looks much better. A shame it has to be purchased separate.

Purchased this to replace shaver only charger socket, one for one swap, approximately seven minutes from turning the first screw to putting last screw back in this charger, very easy DIY job, and it does the job too.
