Does what it says on the tin apparently
still to use it so can’t really comment
Item was perfect for job in hand, previous plastic seam rollers tended to fall apart after continuous usage.
This wooden roller surpasses the plastic.
Professional little tool to ensure great adhesion. Did the job and no longer leaking so worked
Absolutely rubbish. Not fit for purpose. Roller wouldn't turn returned to store and exchanged which was the same. Purchased one half the price and did the job 100% from Wicks
Did the job,as expected, well made and works Ok.!!
Used this with a heatgun to gently soften Bostik flashband to get better adhesion. Seemed to work.
I was surprised this rollers is mostly wood, including the roll, but it makes sense in term of sustainability and it turns out to perfect : good sized roll and large handle but still very light and ergonomic, and looks sturdy.
Great product for the price. Same price as much inferior products from other stores. The roller part was a little sticky to start with so encouraged with a drop of oil, now it's fab.
Made to smooth wallpaper joints but strong enough to shape lead flashing
Bought this for the edges of vinyl stick on tiles. Helped tremendously. Cheap and does the job
Bought one and had the same problem as the other reviewers - squeaking noise and it was solved by dipping the roller (not the handle) into a small bowl of new engine oil then taking it out , wiping the excess oil with a piece of kitchen towel. After lubricating the roller, the colour of the roller changed (see photo) but it has worked well since .
After some use the roller fell off the handle due to the toothed retaining cap disengaging from the spindle. After re-fitting the cap several times, the cap vanished rendering the Seam Roller useless.
Just what you need to get those seams flat. My application was to roll down the joins on vinyl floor tiles, not a new fit, but splicing in tiles where damaged. Ideal for purpose. Roller was concentric, quality entirely reasonable for the cost.
On first glance it appears to be a nicely made wooden roller. It feels nice and sturdy and should last well. However the wheel gives off the most horrendous high pitched squealing noise as it rolls that it is impossible to use without everyone in the room covering their ears!
Liked the look of the roller but when used it made a squeaking noise which became louder the more it was used. Did look at ways we could stop the noise, but nothing worked. Needed to go and purchase another one. Would not recommend
My first seamer and its ok, am sure there are better ones but it did the job.
Does its job. It is for cardboard model making when laminating cardboard and paper for adhesion.
I wanted a left handed roller but the right handed roller worked brilliantly
Poor quality, roller not centred on spindle, roller not even close to being evenly cylindrical. Subsequently doesn't roll properly and regularly stops/breaks
A small wooden roller. I wasn't able to make it affect the seams at all. Maybe I was doing something wrong, not sure.
