Very helpful pleasant staff. Click & collect is nice and quick
Great price, ordered online as not available in store. Everything worked well. Fitted into ariel lead to reduce signal strength to reduce picture freezing. Worked perfectly
It becomes a bit cumbersome once you add connections to the attenuator. Works to a limited adjustment
Some improvement in number of channels....
NO INSTRUCTIONS. !!!!
If your Humax Freeview box tells you that the have no signal or only a weak one, the problem might be the opposite as it was in my case. Added this to the aerial lead an now all good!
This little inexpensive gadget is excellent. I tryed everything to try and fix my DVR pixelated tv signal picture. Then I read about too strong a signal and sensitive tuners on DVR, so fitted this little miracle and it WORKED.... excellent.
This unit is ecconomical and good value. It is easy to set up and fit. Just make sure you have the screw on connectors.
Cheap and easy to use, needed to lower signal power to TV and this did the trick
It does what it says on the tin as they say in the adverts
Brillant, this device fixed my Sky TVlink remote problem with my new smart TV
This variable attenuator did the job just fine.
My Digital TV signal was too strong causing frequent pixilation and general breakup of picture and sound. This device made it possible to reduce the signal strength down to 87% (as shown on the TV setup menu) at which level the problem was fixed.
This is a low cost solution that has worked for me.
Would recommend.
Simple to install; simple to operate; perfect results.
My TV aerial signal was too strong for the sensitive tuners in my PVR box. This gizmo enabled me to modulate the signal down and solve my picture woes.
Where I live we can see the Winter Hill transmitter, so have a very strong signal. Our Humax box didn't like this and experienced picture break-up on a lot of channels. Adding this attenuator did allow me to dial down the strength of the signal, resolving the problem on channels like BBC1, ITV and Dave. However it also outright chopped off the COM-7 multiplex, which is where channels like BBC News HD, More4+1 and BBC Four HD. Sadly I had to return and now looking for alternatives.
Did what it was supposed to do, needed one quickly, toolstation only company able to help.
Set up as YouTube videos suggest. Works sporadically.
Fitted this to reduce signal strength to match digital box requirements. Easy to fit but the adjustment is a bit difficult to easily set. Got to right strength eventually but screw adjustment doesn’t seem to be linear.
Had pixelation on certain channels, ITV, Ch4 etc on my BT Youview box. According to my TV, all the TV channels that use Ch51 714mhz. Turns out my signal was too strong for the Youview box, so needed to turn it down. Amazed and happy to see my local Toolstation stocks the very thing. All channels now work perfectly!
This did the job and reduced the too strong signal for the Humax Box.
