Quality tool for conncting rj 45's.................
Good quality, easy to use but would be nice if the built in cutters were more like a side cutter.
Not really a pro tool, too easy to push the connector too far through the tool, and the stop on the cutter leaves the internal wires too short after removing the sleeve. The blades are sharp though and cut well. Good price compared to what appears to be the identical item from other online sources.

Broke on first use
Bought 20/06/2018 haven't used it much, maybe 10 times if that. Was just adding a PoE camera and used this tool to crimp both ends of the cable. crimped both sides and Camera could be heard working but I could not connect to it. Cut both ends off and re-crimped on new connectors - still not working. I just could not understand why but as I didn't have my tester with me delved into toolbox to get my old AMF crimper and re-crimped the connector - guess what, yes it was working now.
This is NOT a 'Pro' crimp tool for sure if it doesn't last that long. Shame i didn't use it those 10 time in the year I bought as i could have got a refund. Test you tools thoroughly folks!
Toolstation replaced as it failed on the first crimp. New one managed 3 crimps before it too failed. Neither compressed the crimp enough to prevent the wire from simply falling out.
decent click and collect , product unreliable, dissapointed
Does the job but is reluctant to let me have the plug back after crimping.
Boughtthis to replace a broken well worn unit - Works well, can't fault it so far - long may that comtinue
