Works great, cut time in half. Had 4 layers of paper
I was using this to help me remove a narrow wallpaper border which was fixed straight onto painted plasterboard. The scorer was useful albeit I wasn’t using it for its intended purpose and with the use of a liquid wallpaper stripper I did eventually remove the border. Because the scorer was wider than the border I was removing I did score the plasterboard which I then had to make good.
A great tool to help remove stubborn wallpaper, it's comfortable to use although you do need to unclog the wheels quite often
Broken within 20 mins using it .Very poor quality .
Don't be put off by the "cheap and nasty" feel of this product. It does the job, works a treat on woodchip with vinyl paint on top, and on vinyl wallpaper. The trick is, as stated in the instructions, not to press too hard onto the wall when using it,
Used on woodchip wallpaper and two of the scorers broke and came off on the first day. Really expensive for something that broke straight away
Decent scorer, quick and easy to use, did a good job on the woodchip paper
Easy to prepare a wall for wallpaper stripping. Roll blades around wallpaper to make small cuts. We used steamer and wall paper solution to aid wall wallpaper removal. Easy to use.
Perhaps it’s because I’m using this on painted over wallpaper, but this is a mediocre tool for this particular job. It just about punctured the paint and paper after scraping over the same area 10-15 times, but after a wall and a half it started breaking. The plastic is very flimsy and cheap and the wheels seem to be held in with a friction fit. So with use it feels like they’ll naturally wear loose. I’m going to try the silver line roller instead and hopefully that’s better.
The grip should be able to rotate as the scraper is moved across the wallpaper. It is too tight a fit to move freely. Used a silicone spray which helped a bit .
Lasted 5 minutes. Shoddy. No idea how this even made it into production.
time saving and so easy to use. comfortable grip, used on textured wallpaper and also multiple layers of paper and its worked on both.
Works ok but I found marking the paper with the points of the scraper was at least as effective+
Great item for penetrating wallpaper to steam off especially when it's been painted over
A good little tool helps water penetration of old stubborn wallpaper. I think it saved time
Bought this before starting to strip old, painted anaglypta, expecting it wouldn’t peel off easily. However, it actually came off wlth ease, so I didn’t need the new tool after all! However, I did try it and it was easy to use and certainly penetrated the paper without damaging the wall. My only criticism is the price. I’d think £10 would be more reasonable.
Not that impressed with the walkpaper Scorer - wouldn't recommend
Wheels came off first 5 mins thought I would buy the more expensive one its was very cheaply built .took it back for refund .
Works really well so far on some very tough paper. As long as you hold it evenly & flat and not too much pressure.... no issues.
Good tool, not had a problem with it so far, pretty solid
