Recommend by an instructional video on YouTube, plumbers gold certainly did the trick!
I used this to glue lino to a piece of 2x2m hardboard. It stuck well but gaveca slightly lumpy effect. Next time i would use something that spreads more easily, like a paint consistency as the Gold Adhesive is very thick. Also used it to stick artificial grass to a plastic gym step (dog agility aid) and it worked well.
For the price, you cant get a better product. Seals really well

Adhesive and sealant in one package, always has worked well for me.
Rerouted an old shower waste which caused the inevitable leaks around the trap and waste connection. New seals didn’t help, but this stuff saved the day. 👏

I have used plumbers gold many times as it is a fantastic sealant for bedding in sink wastes and for general sealing. It is also a great adhesive. It is also great for sealing general waste systems.

Bought this to seal the waste on an old Belfast sink. Felt sticky but this made it easier to fit the parts. So far no leaks.
Needed to resell a drain plug and this doc the job perfectly. It’s the best sealant I found for the job. Clear and pretty easy to clean up any over spill.
Plumbers gold is generally brilliant and worth the extra cost. However the reason for 1* is that Toolstation supplied it already solid and unusable because it is almost 2 years past is use by date. Manufacturer says it has a year shelf life from manufacture date and Toolstation supplied version had a manufacturing date of June 2022.
