This item does what it's made for and fits straight on with no problems.

Bit bigger than old one so used old one again, didn't matter

It’s a plastic ball float, not really much more to say, has a brass thread which is better than the plastic threaded ones. It floats pretty well and does the job!

Worth buying one even if you only need to replace the float valve as the arms aren't always the same thread, especially if they're old (and probably imperial). Sadly, there's no adapter with this which would have been nice.
