I’ve been using Plasterers Blend (pink) by Kirk Johnstone / On The Trowel, and I’ve got to say it’s a cracking product.
The pink tint makes a huge difference on site — being able to clearly see coverage and instantly spot any missed areas takes the guesswork out of prep, especially on concrete floors and masonry. It genuinely helps raise the standard of the work because you know exactly where you’ve been.
It brushes and rolls on nicely, bonds well, and gives real confidence before repairs or levelling compounds go down. I actually really enjoy using it, which says a lot.
I’m more than happy to pay a bit extra for quality products like this — it saves time, reduces mistakes, and helps deliver a better finish overall.
