2 x 1200mm LED Tubes ordered online for next day collection at Ipswich Whitehouse store. One as replacement for a failed fluorescent tube the other as spare. Relatively straight forward replacement in batten worked well with new starter unit in place. Good light similar to original lamp, Unfortunately 2nd spare tube was found to be broken inside corrugated packaging when unwrapped from polythene transit bag. Breakage reported by telephone helpline and damaged item, with packaging, returned to store for refund. Toolstation team very helpful when dealing with problem. Thank you.

Bought this LED lamp to replace a old fluorescent tube,fitted it,it didn't work,went on reviews and found out i had to replace starter with the one that had come with new LED tube,fitted it and it worked fantastic and nice and bright well pleased.

Excellent replacement/upgrade for an old fluorescent tube in an original old fitting. Just remember to use the replacement starter than comes with it.
These tubes come with a replacement starter. (on some old flourescent lights the long side pulls out and the casing drops down to provide access to the old starter). Insert the new starter and install the LED tube. Very simple process. The light comes on instantly and is much brighter than the old tube. Much easier than buying a whole new light fitting. Brilliant.

I replaced an old fluorescent tube that had died with this LED unit which also includes a replacement ballast. You need to use the replacement ballast. It works perfectly and uses about half the amount of electricity for the same brightness.
