A simple device that does what it claims to do at a reasonable price. The only item missing is a bung to fit over the open end of the suction tube while you take the captured insect to its destination. We made one up using a bottle cap and some masking tape to give a good fit in the end of the suction tube.
Good points:
LED to help spot a target in dark spaces.
Simple suction control - only powers when the button is depressed.
Downsides:
Not much really, just a fan that's a bit noisy.
Too early to comment on battery life as only used a couple of times.

In essence a great bit of kit, suction could be better. Using to suck up wood lice in the garden and had to assist them in 50% of the time
Brilliant little machine. I bought it to catch moths and it functions perfectly. And a far cheaper price than I saw elsewhere. Click and collect worked very efficiently.
Bought as a moving in gift for someone who has a fear of spiders but doesn't want to hurt them. Very happy recipiant.

Useless! Not enough suction to pick up a spider, unless it walked up the tube!
Could be improved by the button bring able to be kept down, until you want to release the spider, rather than manually having to hold it down.
Works perfectly well especially on flies and wasps that get caught inside of our summerhouse. So simple to use.
Excellent. I use it several times a day on very hot days for hatches of clothes moths; so much easier than trying to squash them with wet tissue paper and having to wipe the smudge off. A cap over the nozzle would prevent escapees, but I've solved this with a piece of sponge

Very happy with this little gadget, used it a couple of days ago to pick a spider up and it worked perfect, would definitely recommend to anyone who is scared of spider's !!!!
A poor product. Not powerful enough to do the job. Not good value for the money cheap looking and poor quality.
4 Stars only as 1st one didn't work, taken back, replaced without quibble.
2nd one works, very noisy for such a small device, no spiders at present in the house but as Autumn draws on, I suspect it will get plenty of use.
Once we got the battery in, the power was good and the device easy to use.
Effective at catching insects, but the noise occasionally scares off spiders before ypu can get close enough to catch them.
