Great for swapping mixer taps when they come with flexible hoses supplied. Often in older installations the hose connections are using compression adapters or even soldered ones. This adapter gives you an option of simply cutting the pipe, pushing it is and tightening the hose nut. That is, of course, if the hoses are long enough.

Needed a coupel fo these to connect a new tap with flexible fittings ending in a 1/2" BSP nut to an existing pipe. These were a doddle. As with any pipework though, made sure that the pipes were clean, dent / burr / problem free and they were fittied in seconds. Bought a couple of spares for future use at the same time.

Well...where to start....I bought these fitting to match existing fittings already used on the project I was involved with. These were not going to be used in the conventional way as they are designed for.
I used these along with others in the range to make a steampunk style copper handle for a rustic trailer bar I was helping refurbish. The fittings worked just great with the cooper tubing and looked the business once all assembled.
Very good product. It is very easy to install and has superb quality.
Not bad works well only when you need to take it out there is no nut so bit rubbish. So if you get it wrong you need another metal one for the push fit as you will have to damage the current one there and a bit of pipe. You live and you learn.
Works perfect, would recommend to anyone wanting a push fit one end to compression fit the other. Well made.
