Have fitted Pegler valves previously and happy with its quality hence gone for it again.better quality than cheaper alternatives. The plastic handle appears to be quiet strong
Expensive but needs must, as cheaper products don't last and won't shut off water when you need them too after removing a washing machine.

Needed to replace a bog standard valve that started to leak after fitting a new washing machine. Pegler valve is of superior quality and a much heavier item and so far, no leaks. Not worth using a cheap fitting, lesson learned.

Bought for stock, to replace one I fitted yesterday. Pegler (this item is under their Prestex brand) make quality fittings. I resolved many years ago when I bought a bag of cheap valves - every one of which eventually failed within 3 years - that I would always buy quality valves. They seem expensive but are much cheaper than my time and hassle to replace them.
