Excellent product for the price. Does the job and fits easily, works well in time for the winter. Excellent range from Toolstation and highly recommend click and collect for ease and speed, brilliant customer service and experience.
I've replaced excellent but very old Pegler Belmont TRV's with cheaper Drayton RT212 TRV's and several leaked slightly plus one big leak after 3 years.So I thought I'd try the Pegler Terrier. They have a larger diameter actuating spindle than the tiny RT212, for which there are no O-ring spares offered. The Terrier looks good quality and the current special price is good - tme will tell. Pegler was taken over a while a go and the UK factory closed last year so who knows whether the line will be continued.

Felt a bit flimsy to start with but easy to fit and no leaks or failures so far. Time will tell but seems to be a good product.

I've done loads of plumbing and have even fitted these valves before with no issues but I've never known anything like the game I've just had. It's made me look like a right wally! I fitted 6 radiators and 3 out of the 6 I could not get the olive join between the valve and the tails to seal properly. After 3 attempts to tighten and still the tiniest weep I had to resort to taking then apart and putting on a few wraps of ptfe which you shouldn't have to do! What a nightmare. The only positive is that they came with the rads. Other than that I've never known anything like it...
Nice TRV, got it free with a Kudox radiator. Looks good quality.
We bought 7 of these and one turned out to be cross threaded, so had to be exchanged. These are OK, functional, a little basic looking bit not bad for the price.

It’s an idea that makes it so much simpler to drain one radiator, the simple ideas are the best.
