Very high quality and British manufactured too. A good muckle tail where it joins the radiator. Not cheap but since COVID we're all paying through the nose.
Good quality item at a reasonable price which is easy to fit and they last quite a long time unlike some TRVs and tool station always have them in stock.
Easy to fit and good quality. Bought to replace an old TRV that had packed in.
All fine just returned as preferred the look of a corner TRV instead
Purchased Pegler Terrier 3 TRV Angled 15mm which fitted earlier models so no need to remove valve & drain heating system. So easy fit.
Bought this to replace a broken valve, not an exact one but the does the job very well and very easy to fit.
Good looking valves, at the right price to do the job.
Replacement for Terrier 2. Easy fit perfect. With heating turned off set valves to maximum heat, Unscrew and remove the faulty TVR HEAD, set new valve to high push new one onto the Rad valve and tighten in place, set to required temperature and you’re good to go.
Quality product, slimmer head than cheaper valves
Very competitively priced Pegler TRVs and rapid next day delivery, excellent service.
Good product, works well.
The product is perfect replacement for an older model.
Fitted these valves throughout the house the problem has been the internal sensors leak during hot weather, I feel this has altered my view on what should be a first class product.
I bought these items to replace the top section on an existing installation i.e. the thermostatic head, to replace leaky units. The valve body itself works OK but this is now the second set of replacement heads I have needed totalling 5 replacements in the whole house, 1 of which is a replacement for the last replacement. After fitting ther replacements the expectation is that a setting of 3 is about right for keeping the room at the correct temperature. This was the case for 1 unit, but the other keeps the room warm at a setting of less than 2 suggesting it is faulty from the outset. I guess I will continue to replace these heads regularly as I cannot be bothered to drain the system in order to fit an alternative set of valves. However if you are purchasing for a new installation, I would suggest using an alternative product
The part was purchased so that I could use the head to replace that on a Terrier 2 . Although it is claimed to be a replacement it is quite tricky to fit as the depth of engagement of the head's plastic base to the valve body has been reduced. Also the head can only be fitted in one of 8 orientation with respect to the valve body. The result is the head's metal lock ring must be screwed to the valve body before there is positive engagement between the two. To early to state the performance of the head itself.
Excellent TRV's, been fitting these for years, no issues very reliable
Have had these for 8 - 9 years, since we installed our central heating. Many of the plastic splines to turn the thermostatic valve have crumbled with heat/age. A number of the valves also leak wax and are locked on. Contacted manufacturer and told them about the problems. They said they are only guaranteed for 5 years. I would expect them to last much know longer. You pay for what you get. Tool station is great, but this product falls far short of reasonable expectation.
