Solid and seems to work fine. Annoying that demounting is a pain that needs a separate tool. A disappointing commercial approach by Pegler.
Bought two of these . Bought Pegler as I know this type of valve can leak around the screw head. Had bad experience with one of them as it leaked badly around the pipe. I suspect it was something to do with the pipe inserts with the o rings on that I used. not sure really why it happened but as the place I put them was very difficult to get to I removed both of them and changed them to compression lever valves as I could not trust them after that. I did have the pipe inserted all the way so can't really say why it leaked.
