I was unsure if this valve would fit my plastic pipes, when i needed to replace the ball float stalk. It worked better than my expectations, and no leaks 1st time.
Having cheaper valves in the pass, i would recommended this one as you can get tight fitting on it .
slightly shorter than the one I bought it to replace, so could not fit and had to come up with amore complex solution. Would be helpful if manufacturers would quote the fitting length when bought as a replacement
I use these because unlike the cheap ones they never ever leak and turn the water off totally.
