Have purchased these for years. Often find that cheap valves leak and cause water damage. Not cheap but if they work without leaking, that can save a lot in the cost of repairs after a leak.
Given the need to isolate, drain down, mess around, &disrupt the household l think it is always better to spend a small amount more on better / best quality components

Good valves. Wouldn’t use anything else. Cheap ones leak.
Got this to put on as an isolation valve for one of our toilets. Went in easily and works perfectly with no leaks.
