Rubber washer too small to mate against the waste without collapsing inside when tightened. Had to use a thicker one

Easy to fit with no difficulties. Perfect if you need an in line trap.

Initially looked a good trap, but was of poor quality like a lot of other things on sale now, wasn't a good fit to sink waste and kept leaking
Bought this today tried and tried could not stop from leaking total waste of money.
Had difficulty getting watertight when screwing onto basin waste - rather slack fitting - which means the rubber seal is free to move while tightening. At least any future leak will not be disastrous as it is above ground and will be visible .
Leaked from the seal to the basin outlet as well as the main body. Very poor quality. Purchased another from a different retailer and brand. Should have listened to other reviews.

The Pedestal Trap was the item that i needed but when i replaced it and came to test it leaked. On inspection i found that the manufactures had left a burr around the top middle section of plastic, I smoothed the edge down reassembled the trap and stopped the leak.
Needed a compact waste trap to be fitted in a narrow basin pedestal. This seemed to fit the bill and it did perfectly. It it not easy to fit in a confined space but that not fault of product. You do have to fit the outlet seal properly don't just push in the pipe and hope it seals. Really cannot understand all the negative comments.
Waist of time seals leek bad manufacturing.

The design of this makes getting a water tight seal almost impossible.
Have returned and will buy a different brand.

I had bought pedestal traps before but this straight-through type had me confused. It has lots of parts but no instructions or diagram. From the time I installed it there were persistent small leaks from most of the connectors. The two sections of the outer cover did not seat properly due to poor quality moulding. I've not yet decided if it needs to be returned as not fit for purpose.
Nice bottle type pedestal trap. Telescopic end to make fitting easier. So far so good.
