Excellent universal pipe insert, enabled me to convert from the original floplast 15mm cold water pipe to 15mm Copper and 15mm JG Speedfit. The main benefit being able to change from a non-demountable system to demountable modern systems.
The inset was bought to provide mechanical stiffness to a 15mm threaded plastic pipe tail (bottom filler entry valve for a WC) so it could couple it to a brass G 1/2 female. It did not do the job as the plastic pipe tail still collapsed when tightened and leaked. I gave up and ended up replacing the 15mm plastic pipe tail for a brass one that coupled and sealed well.
Worked well, easy to use by a diy er who only occasionally turns his hand to plumbing. Worked great with compression fittings I used for a small job. No leaks at all.
These 15mm pipe inserts work well in the grey PB Barrier 15mm pipe (Toolstation 39121) I was using. Cheap enough too.
Easy to use on pipes where the sealed inserts were difficult to fit.

Bought for push fits, and universal compatibility, at food price.
Always cut the end of the pipe with the correct tool to get a square end and then the inserts fit nicely into the pipe.
Bought these to go with pipe and fittings so pipe did not crush
Bought Pex pipe by mistake as per usual pipe insert stiffeners I had did not fit, closest was polyplumb old plastic inserts, so had to buy pex own stiffeners but did not use as returned pipe and bought
Hep2o instead. Should of bought this in first place Pex pipe no where near the quality of Hep2o.

Not much to say as they do what they are supposed to. Although some don't use as they feel they restrict the flow.
Handy universal fit when having to mix manufacturers on refits

Tried to find a insert that would work as Jg was too tight. These ones although not top quality, are not rubbish and work very well so are excellent value. Wouldn’t use instead of Jg speedfit on speedfit but to use in multi make setups, 10 out of 10. Got me out of trouble.
