When fitting a Basin, I needed to block off the overflow. Turned to my favourite go to supplier, and hey Pressto, job sorted less than an hour. One ecstatic customer, and a happy user of toolstation. 👍

I needed a simple stop end for a hole in a water butt. I spent forever searching online for such a simple item without success... until I went to Toolstation. This fit the bill (and the butt) perfectly.
It did exactly what i needed it to do and is still functioning

Used to block a previous hole in a water butt. Works well. The addition of a plastic washer on top of the rubber washer makes tightening the back nut easier, but it's not essential.
Used to fixed a hole in a water butt. Seems to have done the job. Washer didnt splay out too much so should seal. Only time will tell. It was to replace a tap that wouldnt seal.
Didn't work for me. Couldn't stop the leaking. Had to refit the old overflow even though it wasn't attached to anything but this stopped the leak. May be ok on other newer toilet cisterns but failed miserably on mine.
Used this to block off a redundant overflow outlet on a cistern after replacing the old syphon with a new one that has an internal overflow. In common with another reviewer, I found it impossible to tighten the nut sufficiently to get a seal with the nut on the inside of the cistern as intended. I had to fit the stopper upside-down with the nut on the outside, but it worked perfectly when installed thus.
Great item does exactly what it is supposed to do, and stopped the leak in the cistern.
It works. In addition, the seal could be used to replace pipe washer instead of having to buy an entire unit.
Good value, easy to fit does the job, hasn't leaked so far
Useful for blanking off toilets, tanks etc.. reasonable priced fitting
