These are well made locks at a good price. Galvanised so will never rust.
Does the job but a little light weight for securing garage doors
This bolt feels quite sturdy, and the zinc plating looks like it should offer good protection against the weather. I really like that it locks securely in both the open and closed positions. Unfortunately, although it came with bolts, they weren’t long enough for my needs—and I wanted to screw it onto the gate anyway. It’s also a bit of a shame that the square fixing holes are so large, as you need to use washers to stop normal screw heads from slipping through. Apart from that, it functions well and seems like a solid piece of hardware overall.

Good strong adds security to gates in garden also comes with bolts to fasten to wood or metal.
Padlock bolt itself if good for the money but the pack contains 4 tiny nuts and bolts which are of no use. Be prepared to buy your own longer nuts and bolts or substantial screws.

Nice small but chunky bolt. Come with small coach bolts but I used large headed screws as fitting to a thick gate

I bought this item along with two matching T hinges to fit a new wooden gate I put together.
Both been galvanised, look good against the new recently protected wooden gate, should be protected from the weather for years to come

Bought for my daughter's rear gate which is made from 4 x 2. Only for occasional use when they are away so won't get much use.
I replaced the fixings with 35mm coach screws to make it easier to fit.

Well made and durable padlock to secure wooden external store cupboard door. However, PLEASE NOTE: whilst the enclosed nuts & bolts are a welcome addition, they are only 45mm, typically the depth of a door, and so were therefore not long enough. Had to return the next day with alternative longer bolts to complete the task - frustrating! (and hence 4 stars)
Well made, perfect size, two way operation is a bonus, as bolt can be secured open or closed. Large padlock fixing holes a definite bonus, you are not limited to a small padlock. The only minor problem with this pad bolt is the supplied fixings, the coach bolt heads are quite small. I am happy with my purchase though.
Very strong and durable product that will last a lifetime - I bought this for my daughter’s new house garden gate on the back of mine still in situ on my gate for the last +35yrs and taken the impact of all kinds of weather for the last +35yrs and will easily take another 50years of our fantastic weather!
Good description and was exactly the right fit and size for my task. Would have preferred the metal to be more substantial but then it’s not an expensive latch. Great that it came complete with the fixing bolts making the fitting very easy and quick.
