Well made and chunky and screws included. Really pleased with the product
The knobs are secured via a screw to secure them to the spindle, which has pre-drilled, pre-threaded holes for adjustment to door thickness. However, if your door doesn't magically align with the spindle's holes, then you're left with a loose, rattling pair of knobs. A really dumb design. Other than that massive issue, they look very nice.
Used these handles to replace extremely old wooden ones. Really look the part on the old door and feel like they'll last a good length of time.
Really good quality black door knob, very weighty. It fits a bit loose to my internal doors so I'm tracking down some washers to make it fit a little tighter. But otherwise looks great and feels very sturdy.
Solid and sturdy. Time will tell whether they ladt outdoors.
Great product looks good on the shed works a treat
Good quality but the shaft was way too short for the door so had to buy something ekse. Kepr it as a spare.
Products flagged as available within 24 hours. Ordered products. Payment taken. Then told one product couldn’t be supplied. Refunded. But not told if the other item in the order would proceed. Left dangling in mid air. Only after a 50 mile journey + my time to visit two Toolstation outlets did I get what I’d ordered. All in all….a bit of a shambles….
The spec doesn't elude to the minimum and maximum door thickness these fit. Both Old Hill and Toolstations only solution was to return for a refund. I fitted a slightly longer spindle as they do look good.
Good quality and heavy door knobs. The threading for the screws is a bit poor though.
Not very good quality as explained in email to Toolstation to which I have never had a reply
Superb, heavy knobs for a garden gate in this case. Feels good to hold and use.
These are heavy, well made knobs. Sprung in one knob only. Only complaint is the ridiculously short square spindle which would suit only the thinnest of doors. Found a longer spindle in my 'box of bits' and works fine.
when joiner came to fit he discovered the handles were not a pair - they turned against each other and he couldn't fit.
I was wary as the box arrived marked 'unsprung' but as they actually seemed to be sprung I didn't worry.
first purchase from Toolstation - not impressed, they don't keep in stock so I can't go and swap, and have you tried getting in touch with local branch by phone? Don't bother.
Well Made and quite a strong spring . Will use it with a sash lock , not sure if I need the extra spring in the handle . Screws appear too long It's a 44mm wooden door and once you chisel out for the lock the screws foul on the lock casing ! Have had to find shorter black screws ...
