I wanted brackets for a round wooden handrail and these looked suitable. They arrived with lots of the paint chipped off (I think due to poor packaging, thin plastic bags with no padding) . The curved plate the rail should sit in has large welding lump in the middle (and it's not even straight) so no place good for holding a rail. I could have gauged a hole in my rail to match I suppose, but the clincher was the tiny screw holes for attaching it to the wall, too small for anything you'd want to use for a handrail (even 3.5mm screws don't fit through ) . I could have drilled the holes out a bit of course but there's no room for larger screw heads beside the rose that hold the arms.
Toolstation service friendly & efficient as usual when I returned them.
Cast iron both broken steer clear of this product
Good quality authentic looking Bracket . Not a fan of slotted screws
