I hoped I would get a pair of these that were useable but alas it wasn’t to be. Like some experienced in reviews posted the covers were so tight I couldn't use them!! Disappointing but my local branch refunded me with no quibbles. Even they agreed after wrestling with them that they weren’t suitable. A shame really as they looked good and would have complemented the test of the cast iron door furniture. Something for the manufacturer’s QC dept??

The escutcheon is fine, but the screws sent with it were not big enough or substantial enough for the job.
Looks great, covers a wider area than normal (so could cover inaccuracies on cutting the keyhole)

The ideal door furniture to give that distinctive look to a garden door. But way way overpriced for what it is.
I’ve hardly used this and the paint is badly chipped already. Not what you expect for something that is used regularly and should be able to withstand movement and a metal key!

was next day delivery wanted for item but was so stiff couldn’t spin open returned and have to wait for next day again ! Beware
These aren't made very as the cover was far to tightly riveted on, that it wouldn't turn. When force was put on the cover to turn, it scratched the base. This was the same on all the four escutcheons purchased. I took them back for a refund.
Not very good quality and does not include the internal escutcheon without the cover plate which toolstation do not sell.
I like these escutcheons as they are traditional and having the screw holes at top and bottom allowed me to fit them where side by side screw holes had deriorated

Renovated my coalshed door and this finished the look off very well .pior to fitting this there was just a untidy hole for the key and it .ztched the olour of the door
After 5 minutes in the rain there is rust on the pivot point. I get that it’s cast iron but that is really disappointing.
