This drain cock saved reducing down to 15 mm so was able to go directly onto the tank via the tank 1 inch thread to 22mm connector.
The only thing i was disappointed with was the length of the 22mm spigot which was only just long enough to go in the 22mm compression. It really needs to twice the length.
Much better than the cheaper type B drain cocks as these are far less likely to leak when being used
Good solid valve went straight in as a replacement.

Not enough Info - Is it suitable for central heating systems. Looked up BS number on it - think so but lots of too technical stuff.
PULLED ME OUT OF THE MYER ONE SATURDAY MORNING AS DIFFICULTY DRAINING CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM. USED THE INSIDE OF THE GLAND AND SEALS ONLY RATHER THAN START MESSING REPLACING THE COMPLETE DRAIN COCK UNIT - WORKED A TREAT AND MUCH QUICKER
Does the job well and replaces another that wasn't as good.
