Brittle plastic, not even moulded to correctly fit over switches
Be careful when tightening down crack the plastic very easily looks good when fitted but needs a true flat surface or won’t seat correctly
I bought two mk 12gang grid plate 3weeks ago. They came in a bag without bubblewrap and with a toolstation book inside the packaging. The weight of the book would easily break the faceplate. Which it did.
