Pros - terminals are all in one line accessible from the top, so easy to connect. The cable notch is pre-cut with an easily-removed plastic tab.
Con - the push-fit cable clamp is too tight for my cable, standard 2.5mm heat resistant. Had to very carefully pare a fraction of the outer sheath to make it fit, even then had to use mole-grip to push right in (protecting the face plate with a bit of wood).
Would not buy again unless using a thinner cable, so can't recommend.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, both with respect to exchanging the item originally purchased and also arranging pick up from another branch.
A good quality and well designed switch, let down by the cable grip which is too small to take the typical cable for an immersion or night storage heater.
MK is the most trusted brand for us. Rare to have any problems.
Less good is the BG brand
the first shop of yours I went to only had next day delivery, so I asked if they had similar, yes, he gave me a lighting switch, I didn't think to check before leaving, fortunately calling to a different shop of yours they changed it for the one I wanted, moral of the story check before you leave, oh the switch, great.
Have found you can never go far wrong with MK kit, well made and sleek profile
Another well constructed product from inustry standard MK. Easy to use terminals and positive feeling switch. Only drawback is the cord grip. MK have moved from the traditional screw type to a push fit. This may work with smaller flexes but does not accommodate butyl for a hot water cylinder very well.. Regardless still a good purchase.

All internal terminal screws face up, making connecting the wires easier than other arrangements.

Nice little cash job this weekend. Replaced a broken immersion switch. In and out in 45 mins, including tea and cake from the householder. Looks smart. Works. Winner winner, chicken dinner!
As usual a good product from MK with strong terminal connections
I bought this switch for the breaker to an immersion heater. I do like MK product and the price of this was comparable to any other make. The switch appears good quality, as usual for MK and fitted without drama.
I feel MK are starting to go downhill with some of their products. Brittle plastic and hard to do up connection points on this switch are a good example. These used to be my go to, but not anymore.
terminals didnt line up with old switch
I needed to replace a burnt out switch (which was obviously a lesser product) which connects to one of our storage heaters. I wanted a 'once and for all' fix, so I chose MK because I have always found MK products to be well designed and great quality.
Good robust switch, nice and easy to connect with all terminals at the top.
