Bought this to sharpen a hatchet. Good and solid, two grades of material. Seemed to do the job pretty well - it was blunt but now is much better.
Does the job. I searched for a simple knife sharpener and found this at a decent price. Why pay more.
Poor quality leading to high wear rate. I bought this to replace a stone I'd been using for 10 years, but despite taking care to use as much of the width as possible I can feel wear grooves after sharpening only 5 chisels! Will need replacing with something of far better quality before I can sharpen a plane blade!
Its a sharpening stone and it works well enough for my purposes
Great product used my old one for over 50 years and hope this one will also. Looks exactly the same and fits perfectly into the box I made as an apprentice.
It sharpens and it’s cheap. Does what you would expect from a generic stone sharpening block.
Use with the Minotaur Honing Guide to have lovely sharp chisels. It took about 45mins to sharpen 5 chisels, 3 of which were quite badly chipped and blunt.
This stone is excellent, it has the right grit grade for getting the finished edge on most Kitchen & Workshop tools.

It works, in my case to sharpen a hoe. It could be better shaped for ease of use in the hand.

Purchased to sharpen my secateurs - it’s very sturdy but too wide to get down to the bottom of the blades. Probably best for a wide single surface.
