Just needed a board to hold the plaster to fill the channeling out following a complete electrical rewire. This does the job strong enough and cheap enough can’t go wrong really

Does the job. Plaster builds in the middle as there is little recess and in the little squares but holds the plaster and is fairly light with a comfortable handle.

Bought this to use for dot and dab, and because I will never need them again after a few weeks, I didn't need the expensive ones. Big and bulky, cheap plastic, handle isn't great either. It's useable and will help you do the job, but don't expect great things

It gets you bye in a pinch. Had loaned my hawk to a mate on a site and like a true mate he decided to adopt it (now returned to me in exchange for this.) Needed one at short notice for a and this got me by.
Easy to assemble and it handles the plaster well. The handle and plane good to stored up.

Used Hawk for a ceiling job. It is light but firm and helped me no end to do a bit of plastering. I'm a spark and only do patch plastering but, it worked for me. Can definitely recommend for the DIYer.
