I used those for drinking in to 3mm steel plates and it works as good as more expensive brands like Bosch or Abracs, and it is good value
They were blunt after drilling two holes, not recommend.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the drill bit I bought 4 eg 2 packs for a job that I had already blunted some of my old drills but did the job just using one so well impressed.
These drill bits are very sharp, cut superbly and are very well made. The fluting is well formed and the drill bit length is very good, I have only used one so far and I was very happy with it's performance when boring into wood the hole was clean cut and of perfect diameter.
Good product easily cut into the brass plate covering my mixer valve.
I bought these to drill out embedded screw heads. They did the job perfectly and the service at Toolstation was excellent, backing up very competitive pricing

Managed to drill through metal psheet that my other drills couldn’t touch. Using slower drill speed and WD40 on drill tip
not sure how long these last as only used for a few jobs. Good so far

Buying drill bits is a lottery sometimes but these are superb. Got a set of Draper HSS long bits also which were hopeless. These Mintaur bits (well only one needed) drilled 20 holes through 8mm RSJ steel and also through the 3mm ally channel with consumate ease. I did dip the bit into oil to cool and lubricate at intervals but as was working upwards this would have made little difference beyond cooling. The one bit showed no sign of wear and was still sharp. The long bits barely managed one hole with effort

Used these as a starter holes to drill through a 12mm rsj beam. Bought several packets thinking I’d need them for the 5 holes I needed but only used two bits and they are still sharp. Used cutting oil and went slow. Surprised how such a low cost drill bit faired against monster beam!
Bought to get through a metal file, blunted almost immediately. Holes were piloted with the bosch drill bits which worked a treat. Concerned at how quickly the bits failed. Would not repurchase.
Really reasonable price and perform like a hot knife through butter - great value.
