Great product at good value. Cut through the ceramic tile in no time with no splintering or cracking. While I only used it for 6 holes, I suspect there's a lot more there for the future.
Needed something cheap to attach knives holder strip to the tiles. Did good job. In my case for single use I do not need diamond or carbon tool. I can use it again
This will not cut as a tile drill would have been there all night
Quickly drilled 4 holes through tiles to install a cooker hood.
When used with masking tape to prevent the drill bit skimming the ceramic tile surface, this works well. Went through 6mm tiles without an issue. Still sharp after a few uses.
unfortunatly went blunt on first use so not the best tile dril i have ever used
With all the negative reviews, I bought 2, but 1 was more than enough. Drilled 7mm cable holes in 20mm porcelain slab for garden lights. Used pillar drill. I kept wet the emerging hole and cleaned out when a cream began to form.(once) Drilled 3 holes, each taking less than 5 minutes each. Can't complain at that. Go steady, keep the drill bit cool and clear. I'm sure it will drill plenty more yet.
Successfully drilled 4 holes in ceramic tiles. Used at slow speed in short bursts with plenty of water to keep tip cool and it comfortably drilled through each hole cleanly. I’d estimate it would likely work for a few more holes so worth buying a few if you have many holes to drill. Can recommend.
Great tool easily went through the tiles. No cracked ones.
Works just as well as the more expensive equivalent item that i normally buy
Definitely worth having in your tool bag
Easily drilled perfect holes in ceramic tiles with no chipping of the glazed surface.
Always amazed when I naturally assume that something will need to be ordered it is actually in-stock, ready to pick up in around 5 mins. No matter how big or small the quality has proved excellent. Toolstation has definitely become my first choice one-stop-shop, brilliant.
This struggled to cut through a porcelain tile, it till a long time to even break the surface running at a slow speed with water. I had to use a diamond bit instead.
Wonderful drill bit, took some practice using a water spray with the drill bit my new blind looks amazing and no cracked tiles.
Did exactly what I wanted, nice clean hole in ceramic tile.
Can’t believe how well this worked!!! After burning out more expensive bits I turned to these…… they flew through the tiles easily.
I placed masking tape on the tiles marked out the holes and then drilled through them. There was no slippage of the bit on the tiles and all holes lined up exactly with no cracking or damage to the tiles. A very useful bit of kit to keep in the tool box.
Only lasted drilling 10 holes but ok if you need it for one job
That drill bit is very soft; it wore out after one hole in the ceramic tile.
Quick, clean cutter for most tiles, this bit has a sharp point, so has limited slip on starting
