Works well with nice clear numbers. What else is there to say.
Great product, good value.
To quote an advert "it does what it says on the tin"
This is a very handy square and a good size, it may not be an engineering square but it’s good for timber work.
I've been using it now to mark center points for core holes to be drilled in blocks and worked perfectly, being extra long
I bought this to provided a right angle with long arms for use on a construction project…
Well made and sturdy, useful for a wide range of tasks
Very nice, large square with clear markings.
Only issue I have is the paint is a little thick and uneven. I have no doubt the underlying square is almost perfect but lumps and bumps in the random thick layer of paint are not.
Basic framing square, clearly marked out and true to 90 degrees. Can't ask for more at this price!
Simple and effective, sturdy build quality a must for a tool kit with multitude of uses
Does the job! Finish good and squares up nicely. Would recommend.
Excellent, easy to use measurements on the square. Their inches or metric , internal or external.
Needed a square to check both internal and external brickwork and unfortunately someone had nicked mine. So on my way to work I stopped in at Toolstation to grab a replacement. This was cheap, but well made and exactly what I was looking for.
Great value for the limited use it will get and it did the job well.
Bought for cutting wallpaper off the roll at 90 degrees.
Works well for that, and was a good price.
However the metric markings are confusing. Firstly, there are inside and outside edge markings, which can catch you out.
Secondly, they read in mm: 80, 90, 100, 10, 20, .. , 90, 200, 10.
A couple of times I mistook the 40 in 340 mm for 400 mm.
Robust, decent size and sensibly priced. Does what it says in the tin!
Product is not dewalt or Milwaukee quality but your now paying there prices
Cheap enough just to throw it around and not worry about losing lots of money
Good strong framing square does what’s stated on the box
It was bought to assist with laying a lino floor and worked wonders with that. I have since used it to cut a strip of board into 4 equal lengths and was large enough to do that without taking one edge off the board. I'm not a chippy and it definitely helped me make better cuts. I have since used it with my bending stand to bend 28mm copper pipe into a right angle. Bonus was that it was only £8.49
I brought it to build some step , as I had seen it used on iTunes, it did the job very well, now it sits in my shed waiting for the next job. It works well, very clear markings on it.
Great piece of kit, not as big as the ‘folding out triangle’ but still works very well as a guide for a perfect 90 degree when I was doing my decking. It will also be very handy when I’m doing the garage roof, and my big project …. wait for it …. Making my own 12 x 10 shed !!! Plane are afoot …. ( well, they’re bigger than that, but you get what I mean ??!! )
