I had some reservations given the low proce for this item, but needed a measuring wheel for a job so I took the risk. I have used it a couple of times now and I have to say that it is a good quality item and has some great features. It feels well made and comes with a useful carrying case. The display is easy to read and has a really good level of accuracy. A quality purchase for the price.
I've had two of these as needed them in a rush and it's all I could get. The LED display breaks within weeks. One does not work at all. The other is presently counting (in metre increments( 1 metres, 3 metres, 3 metres, 4 metres, 4 metres, 6 metres and so on. Whole segments of the LED number are missing as well so you can't even read the final display after you've measured the full length of something). This is total rubbish made from cheap materials;
Purchased for a new colleague, each manager likes their own! Ideal for transporting from site to site due to the carry bag and does the job.
Reasonable price, not too heavy would buy again…..
Great piece of kit for the price. Good digital computer does everything i require. (Except go walking and measuring alone 😔)
Had three different measuring wheels over the last few years, this one is fantastic and has been great so far, compact and ideal for long survey measurements.
Does the job. Easy to use and provides an accurate measurement.

Useless as it fell to bits in a week due to poor design and sub standard materials. There are much better alternatives and better retailers
Really good product for measuring out cable runs. Helps me with most of my CCTV installations. Would highly recommend this product

1st snapped at the axle in the back of the van, got a replacement and the display failed on it. So didn’t have a great experience. Toolstation staff were brilliant though.

Wheel measures well and is easy to use. However when you hold the handle with any kind of pressure, as you need to, the pressure on the handle applies pressure to the battery located in the handle and turns the unit off. This means starting again and awkwardly holding the red area around the screen, rather than the intended handle.
Perfect for quoting jobs where I have to measure large or small areas. Gives the customer confidence that I am quoting for the right size i.e. square meters.
