The bolt croppers have made easy work of cutting wire and chain. A bit stiff to start with but have eased off now.

I bought these because I locked myself out of my garage.all mt tools where inside.it was a fairly heavy duty duty at least 8mm thick and hardened steel.i didn't hold out much hope but to my surprise it went through with moderate effort.would thoroughly recommend.

These were used to snip through a 6mm diameter padlock shackle. I'd read a number of reviews of similar products from different suppliers and of different sizes, many of which had at least one one * rating. I settled on these 24" croppers figuring that the extra cost over the 18" would make it likely that they would have enough leverage. It was ridiculously easy, it took longer to get the padlock aligned in the jaws of the cutter than to cut through it.
Good cropper but no instructions received with it.
